03. Submit for HSA/FSA Reimbursement
Follow the guide included with your LMN to submit your purchase for reimbursement. Claims are usually paid out in 2-4 weeks.

International shipping and customs fees can add up, and we know that’s frustrating. To help offset the cost, we'll be offering a quarterly shipment option with free international shipping. This will allow you to purchase three months' worth of LOAM at once, and we'll take care of shipping fees on our end. Depending on where you're located, you may be responsible for additional customs fees, which you'll be able to see upfront when you make your purchase.

Yep! LOAM's Prebiotic Fiber Formula is HSA/FSA eligible through our partnership with Truemed. At checkout, you'll complete a short health questionnaire, receive a Letter of Medical Necessity, and then pay directly with your HSA/FSA card.
Can I use my regular credit card at checkout?
Absolutely. Pay with any card you'd like, then submit your Letter of Medical Necessity and receipt to your HSA/FSA administrator for reimbursement. You still get the tax savings—it just comes back to you after the fact. If you’re making a one-time purchase, you can also use your HSA or FSA card.
What is a Letter of Medical Necessity, and how is this compliant?
It's a document from a licensed clinician confirming that LOAM is medically appropriate for you—which is what makes it eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement under IRS rules. Truemed handles the whole process: You fill out a short intake form, an independent clinician reviews it, and if you qualify, your LMN is issued.
Are there fees associated with using Truemed's services?
Nope. The clinical intake is included at no extra cost. You pay the regular price for LOAM, and the savings come entirely from your tax advantage.
When should I use my FSA/HSA dollars?

How long does it take for me to receive my Letter of Medical Necessity?

I don’t have an HSA/FSA. Can I still benefit from Truemed?
Truemed is only available to customers with an existing HSA or FSA account. If you don't have one yet, it's worth asking your employer about enrollment options—it's one of the easiest ways to make your health spending go further. And of course, LOAM is still here for you either way.
I don’t live in the US. Can I still get reimbursed with Truemed?
Unfortunately, Truemed's reimbursement program is US-only for now.
