CLINICAL TRIAL
Join our trial to advance endometriosis research.
Endometriosis is notoriously misunderstood and underresearched. This painful condition impacts over 1 in 10 women in the United States, and some studies suggest that over 60% of those with endometriosis go undiagnosed. Even past the hurdle of diagnosis, the broad range of symptoms means finding relief is its own challenge.
In a first-of-its-kind clinical trial, we’re investigating the impact of fiber consumption on endometriosis symptoms with TEND: Trial Evaluating Nutritional fiber in Digestive symptoms of endometriosis. It's the latest milestone in LOAM's commitment to advancing key microbiome research.
If you’re living with an endometriosis diagnosis in the US, join us for this landmark study.
How to Participate
We’re looking for women and people assigned female at birth between the ages of 18 and 45 who are:
- Living with an endometriosis diagnosis.
- Experiencing coexisting G.I. (gastrointestinal) symptoms.
- Do not currently use or have not yet tried LOAM products.
How would you like to get involved?
I’m interested in staying in the loop with LOAM.

Why is LOAM involved?
GI symptoms impact up to 90% of those diagnosed with endometriosis. So much so that endo is often misdiagnosed as IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). The condition is linked with excessive production of prostaglandins, which can lead to severe cramping and diarrhea. Some suffer from “endo belly,” or severe bloating. Sometimes, endometrial tissue grows directly on the bowel itself—and all of the above can cause severe digestive disruption. With such a crucial intersection between endometriosis and the gut, we realized we are uniquely positioned to contribute to meaningful research.
Our mission with TEND is to shed light on this highly underresearched disease and its connection to the gut microbiome—and hopefully, a viable approach to find some relief.
